Sary-Arka Farm — 87 km from Almaty

A third-generation family farm goes direct for the first time. Here's what that does to the economics.

Sary-Arka Farm — 87 km from Almaty

Adilet is a third-generation farmer. He runs 240 head of cattle, keeps his own certified slaughter crew, and renews his halal certificate once a year.

"For twelve years I sold to wholesalers. In two days a buyer would decide what price my family would live on."

With Hiba's launch, Adilet got a direct line to the city buyer for the first time. Three months in, revenue is up 38% on the same headcount.

What changed

  • Price is set the day before slaughter, not the week before pickup.
  • The buyer knows the farm's name and sees the animal.
  • One certificate, not five different ones depending on the wholesaler.

What's next

In September, Adilet plans to expand the farm to 320 head. Hiba will extend a feed credit line, tracked through the app.
